Provide simple recipes and tips for nutritious snacks that fit into a busy lifestyle.

If you're anything like me, you have had to eat something quick and jam-packed with unhealthy ingredients in the past. After many late nights where I couldn't eat a proper meal due to sports or studying, I've found some of the best recipes to eat healthy and quickly while still fitting it into a busy schedule.
Have you ever been running late on an empty stomach? I know I have and that is no way to start your day. To get around this meal prepping the night before has helped me a lot. For example, every day when I get home from school, I julienne carrots and celery, then mix them together. I fill up a sealed container with ranch and store them in the fridge for the next day, making it easy to take it and go.
However, sometimes you may not want something so "healthy", and you want to eat something with more... substance. Here's my list of snacks with a quick excerpt of their nutritional merits.
- Apple slices with peanut butter: A classic and timeless combination of fiber, protein, and healthy fats. Try sugar free peanut butter for enhance nutritional benefits.
- Hard-boiled eggs: A quick and easy source of protein, whenever I'm extremely hungry, rather than eating something with loads of sugar, I just boil an egg. It's relatively quick, quite easy, and delicious.
- Greek yogurt parfait: Layer yogurt, fruit, and granola for a satisfying and nutritious snack. It's quick, so delicious, and easy to do. I eat this every day after school, I look forward to coming home every day to eat this delicious snack.
- String cheese: A convenient and protein-rich snack. You may not think about it much, but it actually has tons of nutritional value, and better yet, it tastes great. Just toss it in your bag and go!
I hope this list of quick and easy snacks can help you maintain a healthy and busy lifestyle. However, make sure to eat full meals every day, this is not a supplement for real food, it is meant to be something to help so you don't get sick from forgetting to eat!
